The idea came to him following the observation that the old dry stone walls are collapsing and that it is now very expensive to put them back together.

Our MOD'Stone® blocks are made in our workshop in Burgundy
from rigorously selected stones
and crushed limestone for the binder.
The Ecomuret France company
- 2012 Cyrille MAGNIN takes over this stone cutting company for buildings and historical monuments initially called Métamorphoses Pierre based in Chatillonais.
- 2017 The company moves and changes its name M-PIERRE is born in Côte d'Or and launches ECOmuret®.
- 2020 marks a turning point with the change of brand ECOmuret® becomes MOD'STONE® to respond to the European development of the product and ECOmuret France is added to the name M-PIERRE.
- 2021 ECOmuret France creates a partnership in Belgium with *ECOmuret Bénélux for the exploitation of the brand and patent throughout the Benelux.
- 2022 ECOmuret France creates a new partnership with Préfa Occitanie for the exploitation of the brand and the patent in several departments in the South West of France.
- 2023 Collaboration with COHAB to integrate biodiversity niches into the modules.
