This innovative concept has been patented by Cyrille MAGNIN inventor of this Ecomuret MOD'Stone®.
The idea came to him following the observation that the old dry stone walls are collapsing and that it is now very expensive to climb them.
The concept
Our MOD'STONE® blocks are manufactured in our workshop in the Burgundy region of France, using carefully selected local natural stone and crushed limestone for the binding agent.
The Ecomuret France Company
- 2012 Cyrille MAGNIN takes over this stone-cutting company for the building and historical monuments initially called Métamorphoses Pierre installed in Chatillon.
- 2017 The company moves and changes its name to M-PIERRE and launches ECOmuret®.
- 2020 marks a turning point with the brand change from ECOmuret® to MOD'STONE® to respond to the European development of the product and ECOmuret France is added to the M-PIERRE name.
- 2021 ECOmuret France creates a partnership in Belgium with *ECOmuret Benelux for the exploitation of the brand and patent throughout the Benelux.
- 2022 ECOmuret France creates a new partnership with Préfa Occitanie for the exploitation of the brand and the patent in several departments of South-West France.
- 2023 Collaboration with COHAB to integrate biodiversity niche to the modules.
